Golfers

Series 106

The Scots like to think they invented the game of Golf, but – according Wikipedia – the first mention of the game dates back to the 13th century. A description of the game, in the Dutch language, talks about a game with a stick and ball. The winner is the person who gets it into a small hole many yards away with the least number of strokes. The popularity did explode in Scotland in the 15th century.
